How long does a jar last?

A little goes a long way. One 100ml jar typically lasts 2–4 months with regular facial use, or 4–8 weeks with daily full-body application.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, it's suitable for all skin types as a gentle everyday moisturising routine. If you have very reactive skin, patch test first.  

Does it smell like beef?

No. Pure, high-quality tallow should have little to no beefy smell. Our tallow is made from organic, 100% grass-fed beef and is carefully rendered and purified to create a clean, mild product that's ideal for skincare.

Will it clog pores?

Many people find tallow works well for their skin because its fatty acid profile is similar to the skin's natural oils. if you’re acne-prone, it's best to try a sample first. 

Is the scent strong?

Our Whipped Tallow Balm is naturally scented with lavender, bergamot and lemongrass, giving it a fresh, clean scent that's also unisex. It's also gently fades, however, if you’re very scent-sensitive, try a sample first.

What’s the best way to apply for facial use?

Use a small amount and apply to clean, slightly damp skin. Gently massage in, start with a thin layer and adjust based on how your skin feels.
